Who We Are

Rheme Cleo(n. Reeme Clee-o) is a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA rock and roll band, playing primarily original, blues-based rock, with a few twists and an occasional U-turn. The music is high-energy and features a driving groove that pulses through the music. The band can be rocking at any given moment, then turn and take the listener down a path showered in blue.

Solid songwriting and a driving rhythm section push the songs along, providing a perfect stage for smoking killer guitars. The band wraps its magical improvisational jams around its structured material, allowing them to drift from driving rock into progressive blues, then off onto some psychadelic, 60’s ride.

For years, Rheme Cleo has toured across the continental US, Europe, and Japan. The band has quietly built a loyal rock-n-roll following abroad, while keeping a relatively low profile in their home town of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Amazingly, if you approached a local on the street, they would probably know nothing about the band! While the band sold out venues in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and the former Soviet Republic, their anonymity remains intact at home! Just another Pittsburgh rock band!

The band is currently working on their 2009 tour, and will release a schedule as soon as it is verified and authorized by the powers-that-be. As much as the band would always like to put the decision making into the hands of its loyal fan base, issues stemming from 2002’s “You Schedule The Tour Dates” contest have forced the band to rely on its management team in our US headquarters.
