Carl Oehling

img_0092.jpgI am Carl. I am the resident Martian of Rheme Cleo. I went to Penn Hills High School where I used to hang out with Jim, who grew up with Tim. Then I lived in Concrete Row where I met Scotty and we used to play in my living room. We played acoustic stuff. Jim was in Maryland and Tim was in Germany at the time.

img_0095.jpgAt some point we all got together, except for Jim, who was busy with other assorted crap. We played in Scotty’s basement with Rawny and Tony Bones and ‘you know who’. It was great we had fun. We jammed and stuff. Life was good.

Then ‘you know who’ temporarily ruined us. But it wasn’t long until we were playing big venues in the States and across Europe. The record companies were thieves, and they wrecked every deal that we cut…..

img_0099.jpgSo we decided to build our own studio in the Swiss Alps, start our own recording label, and spend the rest of our days in the small village that we purchased in Switzerland. We enjoy our chalets, that were hand carved from California redwood. We keep all of our money in Swiss bank accounts. Their ATM’s are everywhere over here.

Bla, bla, bla…..
